Behind the Blades
THE MODERN HEIRLOOMSMAN
Lance Abernathy spent 11+ years in SWAT — entry, sniper, team leader — before making his first knife in a North Kansas City garage. His designs and signature "overbuilt" philosophy earned early acclaim in Blade Magazine and on Discovery Channel.
After losing his father Gary, the company went quiet. Then came 2020: Reload — a Kickstarter that was a top 1% campaign, individually numbered, signed blades into the hands of collectors worldwide.
Today, CEO Adam Pener and Lance are building the next chapter rocketing Sniper to the top. These are knives built to hand down — not throw away.
