Behind the Blades

Founded by knife designer Lance Abernathy in 2009, Sniper Bladeworks pioneered ergonomic "pistol grip" handles and cutting-edge knife designs that catapulted the company to the top of the custom knife-making game. Lance has a background in security, law enforcement and SWAT. He is a lifelong knife collector and enthusiast who has an affinity for hog hunting in Oklahoma and plains game in Africa. Lance draws on all these experiences and skills for his designs and knife making.
